Dr. Ivy Engstrom grew up on a cattle ranch in Nevada. She met her husband at Washington State University where they both pursued the same passions. They have 5 wonderful children. Dr. Ivy is a board member of the Auburn Valley Humane Society and is the designated veterinarian for the Sarvey Wildlife Center. She has been in private practice for over 17 years.
Lashawnda Chase is a veterinary technician who completed an externship with Dr. Ivy from July-August 2010. Directly after completing her externship she was added to the team. She recently graduated from Pima Medical Institute as a Veterinary technician and is currently studying for her national boards at the end of July. She has a cat named “Hope” and dog named “Cody”. She also likes to foster other animals in need.
Amanda Gura is a licensed Veterinary Technician who has been with A Valley Animal Hospital since September 2010, after externing with Dr Ivy from July-August 2010. She recently graduated from PIMA Medical Institute where she studied Veterinary Technology. She has two dogs, Smokey and Sugar, and a cat named Dexter.
